Kids Create Custom “Ridez” at Ridemakerz at Broadway at the Beach
Looking for something fun to do with kids, maybe something interactive, but a little tougher than the Build-A-Bear workshop? Give Ridemakerz a try!
Ridemakerz is an interactive shop where kids (and grown up kids, too) choose a car body, then customize it with sounds, wheels, tires, chassis, spoilers, decals, radio control … the options go on and on. You get to put the ride together yourself, and you can register it online, too.
There are options to have a ride that’s a classic car body style, such as a Mustang or Camaro, or something a little sillier, such as the Disney-Pixar Lightning McQueen. The Ridez are about shoebox sized, about 10-12 inches. The Ridez start at $18, but be prepared: Add ons are so much fun you may end up spending upwards of $100 on outfitting your Ridez!
Ridemakerz is located in the Charleston Boardwalk Section of Broadway at the Beach, near Key West Grill. It’s just one fun offering at Broadway at the Beach, one of the top attractions in Myrtle Beach, offering great shopping, entertainment and dining. After you get your Ridez, you can visit Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, or Pavilion Nostalgia Park, and then choose from dozens of restaurants.
These are just a few of the fun activities you can do with your kids when you visit Myrtle Beach—and they all add up to make this one of the top family destinations in the country.
