North beach water attractions

Welcome to North Beach Plantation Resort.  Situated on 7 ½ acre “island” between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Point Swash in North Myrtle Beach.

Today, we are going to explore the Caribbean Themed Pool complex here at the North Beach Plantation.  It is nestled between the two North Beach Towers and the Atlantic Oceanfront.  When you step outside your condo you are greeted by the massive and rather unique and exciting pool deck.  You won’t know which direction to go first.

In the center when you walk in, you are greeted with a bubbling fountain and you immediately feel the relaxation start to set in.  The biggest question is where to head to first.  There are 5 large outdoor pools, 2 oversized hot tubs, waterfalls and a swim-up bar. 

The centerpiece is the outdoor swim-up pool bar.  It is actually 3 pools in one.  The Main pool is the bar and snack pavilion.  Here you can choose one of the 7 built-in pool tables with bar stools in the water, to have a drink with your friends.  When you are ready for the next one, go ahead, swim over and order one!  The wonderful pool bartenders will take care of you and keep you quite refreshed.  One of the other pools in this area has an infinite edge that cascades into the third pool. 

One thing you will notice throughout the complex is that you will never have to fight for a lounge chair.  They are spread throughout the property.  You can also choose to sit at one of their many table and chairs with umbrellas to shade you from the sun.  There are also, many gazebos for you and your family to relax and really enjoy the day. 

The next area has a rather large pool that is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.  There are even areas where you can stand in a cooling pool and have the waterfall cool you off.  Right next to waterfalls there are also lounging area in the water so you can keep cool as you relax in the warm sun.

Around the corner another pool awaits you.  This is the pool closest to the ocean.  You will notice that there are 2 lifeguards on duty as well to make sure everyone is staying safe and having fun.  There is so much space to explore on the pool deck you might forget that you are only steps away from the Atlantic Ocean.

On the opposite side of these pools is another area that features several splash pools for the little ones.  There are even fountains that spray up to keep them cool and having fun at the same time.  With the zero entry kiddie pool, you can feel safe and secure when the kids are splashing around and having fun.

There are also two shelters you can enjoy.  The North Shelter and the West Shelter.  Try your hand at corn hole, while enjoying being shaded from the hot summer sun.

If the weather is cooler or if it is raining, no worries at all, we have you covered.  Come on inside and experience the lazy river as it circles around.  Or play a game of chess or checkers on the oversized game boards on the island in the center of the lazy river. If you want to learn how to shuffleboard we have one inside and ready for you to play. There is also another large pool for hours of fun.  You will also notice there are plenty of lounge chairs and tables for you to relax while the kids play.
