In a story made famous by Will Farrell’s hilarious portrayal of the title character in the comedy movie “Elf,” oversized elf Buddy ventures far from his childhood home at the North Pole to New York City, where he finds his biological father — a clear regular on the naughty list. Sleigh-loads of laughs ensue as Buddy takes a job as a department-store elf and attempts to navigate a modern world that presents an array of differences from his life in Santa’s workshop.
