The top of the Christmas tree isn’t the only place to find the stars this holiday season on the Grand Strand, as a collection of legendary tribute artists are set to take the stage for the Ultimate Christmas Spectacular show at Myrtle Beach’s Legends in Concert.
Located at popular shopping/dining/entertainment complex Broadway at the Beach, Legends in Concert stages an annual holiday show that has become a lasting Christmas tradition on the Grand Strand. And for the 2018 edition of the Ultimate Christmas Spectacular — set for November 2 through December 20 this year — each show will feature one set of the signature hit songs the venue is famous for presenting year-round, followed by a second, Christmas-themed set that includes tribute artists performing a range of Christmas classics and contemporary holiday favorites.
Expect to be filled with nostalgia and Christmas cheer as the Legends band backs an impressive lineup of tribute artists performing each legend’s top hits, plus a range of the songs that brighten our holidays each year, such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo” (“Carol of the Bells”), “Oh Holy Night,” “Joy To the World” and more.
Tribute performers for this year’s Ultimate Christmas Spectacular include:
Elvis Presley: Travis Powell performs unforgettable hits from the King of Rock ’n Roll.
The Blues Brothers: Dan Meisner and Kenny Barret bring the laughs as they present legendary comedy duo Jake and Elwood’s zany holiday antics.
Frank Sinatra: Brian Duprey belts out favorites from Ol’ Blue Eyes.
Aretha Franklin: Cynthia Minx delivers the toe-tapping classics made famous by the Queen of Soul.
Martina McBride: Stacey Whitton Summers performs top hits by the legendary country vocalist.
