Come cruise the Winyah Bay and take home some great memories and amazing seashells.

First of all, make sure you head out of the Myrtle Beach area and drive on down to Georgetown, about 45 minutes away.  Take the Rover Boat Tours, it is the best, most relaxing and carefree way to experience historic, unspoiled Lowcountry nature surrounding Georgetown and Winyah Bay.

You will board a 46-foot long power catamaran with comfortable seating in the shade. You will be surrounded by vistas of water sna salt marsh, where you may spot a dolphin or sea turtle to swim alongside of you.  AFter you cruise a bit, the Rover will put you ashore where you will be on an unsettled barrier island where the historic Winyah Bay Lighthouse overlooks the deserted beach of North Island.  Once on the island you can search for seashells, experience beauty in its natural form, and enjoy the wildlife in the ecosystem.

The tour lasts 3 hours and is guaranteed to be unlike any other.  Tour Prices are Adults (12 & over) $30.00, and Children (11 & Under) $20.00.  Departure times for tours on the Carolina Rover will vary depending on the time of certain tides at our destination, the beaches by the Winyah Bay Lighthouse.

The tours are planed so that we can put our guests onto the beach at the best possible time for finding shells.
