Crooked Hammock Brewery to open in Barefoot Landing

There’s a new hangout headed to Barefoot Landing’s Dockside Village. Crooked Hammock Brewery is a small chain. It’s famous for its signature brews and backyard dining, and plans to open in July in Myrtle Beach. The location would be its third – it has restaurants in Lewes and Middletown, Del. The location will feature one of the area’s most unique dining spaces.

The backyard escape can accommodate more than 500 guests indoors or outdoors. It’s good for families and is friendly for pets, with lots of diversions for all ages, including:

  • Bocce ball courts
  • Corn hole
  • Fire pits
  • Hammocks
  • Kids’ playground
  • Lakeview bar

Each location has this Crooked Hammock Brewery flair, with a local touch. The restaurant brings a vibe and feel that fits right in with Myrtle Beach. Especially at Barefoot Landing! Crooked Hammock will service craft beers and artisan foods, such as:

  • Backyard burgers
  • Bavarian pretzels with beer mustard
  • Jalapeno and cheddar cornbread
  • Oak-smoked baby back ribs

With delicious food and unique beer selection, it’ll be tough to leave this backyard setting! It’s exactly what Rich Garrahan had in mind when he began Crooked Hammock Brewery in 2015. An escape from the everyday.

“At the end of a hard day, I could escape to my own backyard, hop in my crooked hammock, and enjoy an ice-cold beer,” Garrahan said on the restaurant website. “Maybe it was the hammock, or maybe it was the beer, but that little escape always helped me.”
