For over 58 years the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach was one the hottest vacation spots in South Carolina. Millions and millions of visitors cruised the boulevard and rode the rides at the Pavilion leaving memories that lasted a lifetime. In 2006, the Pavilion was no more, changing the look of Myrtle Beach forever.  Pieces of that history are still around and nothing could be more fun than taking a walk down memory lane at Pavilion Nostalgia Park. 

Located at the shopping, dining, and entertainment sensation Broadway at the Beach, Pavilion Nostalgia Park allows visitors to ride the classic rides of yesteryear. Featuring the Herschel l- Spillman Carousal from the original park, families can enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of this carnival atmosphere featuring fantastic fun for everyone.  Take your kids on the rides you used to ride and tell them the stories of your childhood before the days of social media.  Smile and laughter will abound as you reminisce of days gone by.

The kiddies will have a blast riding the Tea Cup, Motorcycle, and Dune Buggie rides as well as the many other exciting children’s adventures that line Pavilion Nostalgia Park. For the older ones there are the Caterpillar Ride, the Wave Swinger, and the stomach dropping Pirate Ship. There are not just rides at Pavilion Nostalgia Park but even the classic games of Duck Pond, Spill the Milk, Bushel Baskets and Mini Basketball. The park is open year round and during June –August the hours of operation are from 12:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets for the rides range from $3.50-$4.00 but the best deal is to purchase an Unlimited Ride Wristband for $25.00 (or $21.99 plus tax if purchased online).  Summer Passes are available for $54.99 plus tax and are good for 120 days from date of purchase. Groups of 15-49 can ride all day for $19.99 per person and groups of 50 or more are $18.99 per person. Birthday parties of 10 or more people can get in for $14.99 plus tax and the birthday child is always free. Pavilion Nostalgia Park provides party napkins, plates and unlimited soda with your choice of a hotdog or slice of pizza. What a way to celebrate that special day.

Pavilion Nostalgia Park is located at 1171 Celebrity Circle at Broadway at the Beach. From the North: take Hwy 17 bypass S. to 21st Ave. N. – make a U-turn and take a right on Celebrity Circle.
