Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle

Friday, October 25 – Saturday, October 26

Enjoy family-friendly frights to spookier challenges for the brave of heart, the Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle is definitely where you’ll want to be this Halloween! Escape the not-so-scary maze or test your courage as you tour the Haunted Castle. There will also be carnival games, s’ mores, and children’s crafts.

Boo-Fest at Barefoot Landing

Saturday, October 26 – 12 PM – 4 PM

The day will be filled with fun activities and there will also be a costume contest. After the afternoon fun, head to the amphitheater for a showing of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus at 7 pm

Howl-O-Scream at North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex

Saturday, October 26 – 12 PM – 4 PM

Frighteningly fun Howl-O-Scream event in North Myrtle Beach. From carnival games, face painting, yummy fall foods, and more, Howl-O-Scream has something for all ages, from the scare enthusiast to the smaller ghouls and goblins. Activities include hayrides, trick-or-treating, and much more.

Ghosts on the Coast

Saturday, October 26 – 3 PM – 7 PM

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon that includes live music, great local food, and carnival games by the water. Guests are encouraged to wear their spookiest costumes for the costume contests. The day also includes a 5k. There will also be a goody bag giveaway for the first 100 kids!

Halloween Bonfire – La Belle Amie

Saturday, October 26 – 12 PM – 5 PM

Enjoy an afternoon sipping wine, listening to live music, and relaxing by the fire at La Belle Amie Vineyard for their Halloween Bonfire event.

Local Ghosts, Historic Folk and Pirates Trolley Tour

Tuesday, October 29 – 2 PM – 4 PM

Learn the local ghost stories and historic past of the area during a two-hour narrated trolley ride from Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet. Guests will get to see Atalaya, Brookgreen Gardens, and Murrells Inlet’s historic waterfront, all while receiving an informative overview of pirate tales and ghosts.

Trick-or-Treat

Thursday, October 31 – Various locations – 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Broadway at the Beach; 5 pm to 7 pm at Barefoot Landing

Halloween on the Marshwalk

Thursday, October 31 – 5 PM – 10:30 PM

All ages are welcome at this terrifyingly terrific Halloween extravaganza along the historic Murrells Inlet waterfront. Trick-or-treating will kick off the fun for the little ones and a children’s costume contest at 6 pm with plenty of prizes including trophies, ribbons, and candy bags.
