We know you're going to have a great time at Island Vista Resort in Myrtle Beach. Between the gorgeous beach, fun pools, great restaurants and full-service resort amenities, how could you not?
But we're going to make your vacation even better with a fabulous entertainment lineup all summer long.
On Monday nights through August, plan to take in one of the most exciting performances around as Chief Kamu's Fire and Hula Show displays all the wonder and beauty of traditional Hawaiian hula and fire dancing. Traditional Hawaiian costuming is paired with enchanting hula dancing in this engaging show, and you may even learn a few hula moves yourself. The exciting knife and fire finale will have you holding your breath in awe of the spectacular fire tricks these talented performers do. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on the pool deck in front of Island Vista's Tiki Hut bar and grill.
And on Thursdays, Island Vista continues its long tradition of reggae night. Sit by the Tiki Hut and enjoy hours of relaxing to the island sounds of steel drums, congas and more as you take in the beautiful ocean view. Add in a cocktail and a light dinner from the Tiki Hut, some gentle ocean breezes through the palm trees, and you'll find your vacation heaven. It's fun for the whole family, too — kids are often encouraged to try the drums for themselves, or shake a tambourine along with the music. The music starts at 6 p.m. every Thursday.
Island Vista has plenty of other events and activities through the summer, too. Our Kids Club Night can be a parents' night out. There's also on-site dining available at the Cypress Room restaurant, offering classic Southern food and hospitality. Or, try poolside dinner at the casual Tiki Hut.
For daytime activities, don't forget to check the daily schedule of fun for the Kids Club, and of course, relaxing spa services are available.
At Island Vista, we take our mission of offering the best in world-class relaxation and entertainment seriously so that you can have the best vacation of your life. Enjoy!
