The March calendar at House of Blues is packed with great performances and fun events. On weekday evenings, the Crossroads Stage features standing engagements with some outstanding local musicians. On Tuesdays, singer-songwriter Brian Roessler performs his rhythmic acoustic creations influenced by diverse artists that include Bob Mould and Dave Matthews, while Wednesdays bring Jeff Thomas and his eclectic acoustic blend of grassroots American genres like jazz, blues, Appalachian and the different eras of rock.

The Yale Brothers take the stage on Thursdays with their original rock-country blend and mix of cover songs. Their music will keep you hopping, especially if you plan to attend the Hopped Up Tap Takeover on the final Thursday of March! Tap your feet to the music and enjoy $4 craft beers on tap from Oskar Blues Brewery all night! Complimentary bar bites are included, and a prize drawing will be held at the end of the evening.

The weekends bring some big names to the House of Blues, the Top 40 Hit band Blue October (March 24). Justin Flom’s “Share the Magic” show (March 25) is also on the late-March schedule. Space is limited, so be sure to check the House of Blues website for ticket availability if you’re interested in seeing one of these performers during your stay at North Beach Plantation.

You might also want to check out the popular Saturday night Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. This is an interactive comedy whodunit performance. A murder has been committed, and everyone in the theater is a suspect! Can you solve the mystery? Figure out who did it, and you might discover great rewards at the end of the evening. The show includes a three-course meal of salad, chicken with rice and veggies, along with a bourbon bread pudding for dessert.

Friday, March 31, will bring the much-anticipated opening of The Deck, a fabulous outdoor entertainment space at the House of Blues. Matt Parker and the Deacons are scheduled to deliver the opening performance of the season, and if you need just a little more incentive to show up, the House of Blues will also be hosting an AC/DC tribute evening inside with Thunderstruck. You do not want to miss this party!
