The summer is coming to a close, and whether you pass its final days sunning on the beach or partying the night away, Labor Day Weekend is the perfect time for a beach vacation. There is no better way to say goodbye to one season and welcome the next than by enjoying the beautiful accommodations at North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle Beach!

The weather is still beautiful, the water is warm, and the late-summer crowds grow smaller as kids head back to school and families settle back into their routines. Since it’s the traditional end of summer, you can find great bargains among merchants and vendors who want to sell the last of their summer stock. And if you’re looking for some excitement while you’re here, there are hot happenings going on all over the Grand Strand!

There’s a Labor Day extravaganza at Broadway at the Beach! Located only 20 minutes from North Beach Plantation, Broadway at the Beach is one of Myrtle Beach’s most popular attractions, and they’re going all out for Labor Day. Broadway at the Beach will be hosting the 6th Annual Coastal Uncorked festival. The event will be going on all weekend long, starting with Friday night’s Chocolate Under the Moon, where you can join the tasting party after a competition between bartenders to see who can mix the best-tasting cocktail! Saturday will feature live music and an array of samples from the country’s finest craft breweries, and Sunday will cap things off with the Grand Wine Tasting event, followed by fireworks. Tickets can be purchased for the individual events, or you can buy a three-day pass and indulge in the whole experience.

And while the Coastal Uncorked festival is geared toward adults, Broadway at the Beach also offers a wide range of family-friendly attractions, as well as restaurants, bars and food vendors. There will be live shows all weekend long, and a Princesses and Super Heroes event on Friday and Saturday evenings, when your little ones might get to meet their biggest heroes.

If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, the Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival will be held at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College campus on Friday evening and all day Saturday. When chefs compete to see who can cook up the best wings or the tastiest barbecue, you win! Sampling tickets are available for both competitions at $1 each and are good for one sample each while supplies last. The festival also includes a Myrtle Beach Car Club show and free live music on both evenings.

Looking for a really laid-back evening? Head to the House of Blues for the last Sweet Reggae Sunday of the season. You can chill out on The Deck all night with live reggae music and $5 craft brews from Sweetwater Brewery. Since Labor Day Weekend marks the end of their season, there will also be a giveaway featuring some great prizes.

And, of course, if you find yourself unsure of where to go or what to do, just head toward the beach for the last days of summer fun. Don't let the opportunity pass you by! Come to North Beach Plantation for a fun-filled Labor Day Weekend In North Myrtle Beach.
