Looking for a casual, affordable place to hang out with a great view of the ocean?

Give the Patio Café and Bar at Palmetto Shores Resort a try. It’s the kind of Myrtle Beach restaurant that visitors come back to year after year for the comfortable atmosphere, great food and drinks and for the personable service. And throughout the summer, you can also enjoy entertainment while you’re enjoying your food and drink!

For the spring, there’s a D.J. every Saturday night from about 7 to 10 p.m., and as the summer heats up, The Patio will add a Friday night D.J. as well.

The Patio also recently launched a new menu, with a few southern treats on the beach bites menu, including fried dill pickles, fried macaroni and cheese and fried green tomatoes. The Patio nachos are also a favorite, with fresh chips, house-made chili, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and sour cream. And if you’re so inclined, you can step up to a burger, dog or wrap.

The Patio’s breakfast buffet is also one of the best at the beach. “We ate breakfast every morning here, food and service were great,” wrote a recent TripAdvisor reviewer. “For a buffet the staff still went above and beyond to serve us. Will eat at The Patio again when back in Myrtle Beach.”

The Patio is open from 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. To keep up on specials and happy hours at The Patio, “like” the page on Facebook, where specials are regularly posted.
