Brookgreen Gardens New Year's Eve “Garden by Candlelight” Pre-Party

Begin your New Year's Eve celebration at Brookgreen Gardens. The famed botanical garden's sculpture garden will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. with strolling musicians, candles and holiday lights. Space is limited for this special evening in the gardens. Advanced tickets are required. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Brookgreen Gardens is a nonprofit botanical garden and zoo accredited by both the American Alliance of Museums and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It's also stunningly beautiful.

Southern Times Square celebration at The Market Common

Join the party at The Market Common, where two live bands will perform, there will be two beer gardens to choose from and guests can watch a live feed from New York City's Times Square and free street entertainment. Entertainment throughout the grounds will include face painting, fire eaters, stilt walkers, flame thrower, and magician. Fireworks will cap off the night when the ball drops! The New Year's Eve Celebration will begin at 7 p.m. in front of Grand 14 Movie Theatre. The Market Common is a 114-acre lifestyle center featuring townhomes, stores, restaurants, a movie theater and more.

Broadway at the Beach Fireworks Extravaganza

Broadway at the Beach will send 2014 off with a bang! This will mark the final fireworks extravaganza of the year. It will go off at 6 p.m. right over Lake Broadway. And when the fireworks are over the night will be just beginning. Broadway at the Beach is an entertainment venue featuring unique specialty shops, dining, attractions and a vibrant nightlife, all surrounding the magnificent Lake Broadway. You won't want to miss this.

Hard Rock Cafe New Year's Eve Celebration

The Hard Rock Cafe will have a rockin' New Year's Eve party. Carolina rock band Black Glass will perform live, and you can bet the dance floor will be heating up. This party is for those 21 and older only. General admission tickets are $25 plus tax in advance or $30 plus tax if purchased day-of. General admission tickets do not guarantee seating. This event is a concert style event with limited seating.

Children's Museum of South Carolina's Noon Year's Eve Party

This is a great family event. The Children's Museum of South Carolina will open its doors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for kids to ring in 2015. The festivities will include a kids' sparkling juice toast and balloon drop at noon. The event is being offered with reduced admission of just $5 per person.

2001 Nightclub

The Catalinas, the popular beach rock band from the 60s, will play at 2001 Nightclub for a New Year's Eve party. The party begins at 9:30 p.m. and will include a champagne toast at midnight.

Comedy Cabana

Comedy Cabana has New Year's Eve shows scheduled, and it expects tickets to sell out! Shows are set for 7 and 10 p.m., and the 10 p.m. show will include a champagne toast and a balloon drop. Comedians are to-be-announced, but this promises tons of laughs.

Gold Key Jazz Society at the Clarion Hotel 

The Gold Key Jazz Society will host a “top-secret” New Year's Eve Party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at a location to be announced to ticketholders. The event has a 007 theme so expect a spy feel to the event. Zanzibar Intracoastal will play. Tickets are $80 per person or $155 per couple. The Gold Key Jazz Society is a non-profit education and music appreciation organization of jazz enthusiasts from around the region.
