For Jimmy Buffett fans visiting the Grand Strand this summer, one July event at a popular local winery offers a chance to pair two of the finer things in life — Carolina-produced wines (including a range of reds, whites and more) and the laid-back, beach-friendly tunes of popular American crooner Jimmy Buffett.
Set for noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River, the Summer Parrot Head Festival brings live bands playing Jimmy Buffett music to the beautiful vineyard grounds, along with food vendors and, of course, a range of the winery’s Twisted Sister Wines to enjoy.

“This is not Napa, but it is a lot fun. Live music with people dancing. A variety of food. The selection of wines is largely white. There are a few reds, but don't come for the wine … enjoy yourself with good music & a casual atmosphere.”
The festival admission charge is $10, but this price is reduced by $2 for attendees who bring two canned or dry food items for donation to the area food bank.
