The holiday season is just around the corner, and it’s not too early to start thinking about your plans for this year’s Thanksgiving feast! If your family is planning a Turkey Day trip to the Grand Strand, you’ll be in for a treat with a stay at North Beach Plantation – where you can relax and enjoy the holiday stress-free by reserving your spot at a local Myrtle Beach restaurant. Let someone else worry about getting the turkey perfectly cooked and washing up all the pots and pans afterward with a reservation at one of these open-for-the-holiday hot spots.

As a guest at North Beach Plantation, having your holiday meal at the resort’s own premier steakhouse and sushi bar, 21 Main at North Beach (21mainatnorthbeach.com), will elevate the Thanksgiving experience to a whole new level. Have your turkey and dressing — with all the sides, of course — prepared by the restaurant’s superb chefs and served with an elegant presentation! 21 Main will also offer its entire usual selection of aged steaks, fresh seafood and sushi available for guests who prefer those options.

Castano's Italian Steakhouse (castanosrestaurant.com) will be serving its annual Thanksgiving feast again this year. In addition to the traditional turkey meal, you can also opt for Castano’s delectable lamb, beef, fish and pasta entrees. The kid’s menu for the day will include a special turkey meal, as well! Castano’s will be serving between the hours of noon and 8 p.m., and reservations are strongly recommended.

Bistro90 (bistro90.com) is just a little off the beaten path in Longs, South Carolina, but it’s well worth seeking out! Their standard menu includes hand-cut USDA prime beef and chops, seafood, and classic Italian dishes, all of which will be available for your Thanksgiving meal if you choose — in addition to Thanksgiving turkey, ham and all the trimmings. (The pizzas on the usual menu, however, will not be available.) Bistro90 is seating on the hour from noon until 7 p.m., and advance reservations are required.

Space fills up early for holiday seating at all of the above-mentioned restaurants, so don’t wait! Reserve your spot early so your holiday plans can be set. However, if you find yourself without established plans on the big day, there’s no need to despair. The following local restaurants require no reservations for the Thanksgiving meal.

Preston’s Seafood and Country Buffet (prestonsrestaurant.com) has a huge array of tempting foods on its buffet on any evening, but they go all out on Thanksgiving. In addition to their extensive salad bar, seafood buffet, prime rib, chicken, pork, melt-in-your-mouth side dishes, dessert bar and separate kid’s bar with selections that appeal specifically to the younger crowd, there will be traditional turkey, ham and Thanksgiving sides on offer as well. Best of all, no reservations are required to book a seat at this table!

California Dreaming (californiadreaming.rest) and Carolina Roadhouse (carolinaroadhouse.com) will both be providing a scrumptious, all-American Thanksgiving feast this year. Reservations at these restaurants are accepted only for parties of 10 or more, so you can walk in on a moment’s notice and still be treated to all your holiday favorites.

When you spend your Thanksgiving at North Beach Plantation, you can dine in style and enjoy the holiday without the need to wash a single dish — so come on down to North Myrtle Beach and have your Thanksgiving dinner done Grand Strand style!
