If you’ve got a consistent yoga practice at home that you don’t want to let go while you’re on vacation or if you’re just getting started and want to try out something new while you’re in Myrtle Beach, there are plenty of great options!
Here are a few options for yogis, from beginners to expert:
This studio is located in The Market Common, which means you can combine a little stretching and breathing with some shopping, dining and maybe even a movie—talk about a relaxing way to spend the day! Every class is available for drop-on, and there’s even a kid-friendly vinyasa class on Saturday afternoons. Drop in classes are $15. Yoga in Common also offers chair, Swedish, deep-tissue, sports, Thai and prenatal massage.
Shanti has created a calm and quiet oasis tucked away inside a strip mall in the heart of bustling Myrtle Beach. Vinyasa, ashtanga, and restorative yoga classes are offered seven days a week, and the schedule also includes beginner’s cases, candlelight vinyasa and hot vinyasa classes. Drop in classes are $15.
This Surfside Beach studio offers gentle yoga, ashtanga and vinyasa classes. We also love the Beach Bliss Yoga classes, which are donation only and open to all levels; they take place at 9 a.m. on the Beach a couple of Sundays per month in season. The most up-to-date schedule for Bliss Yoga can be found on the studio’s Facebook page.
This studio is focused on healing and preventative care, and is encouraging to all levels of fitness. Classes range from $5 community yoga classes to kung fu, reike, tai chi to yoga basics and restorative yoga and psychic development. Single class drop in classes are $15, $10 for seniors.
