Your Guide to Eating, Shopping, and Playing in North Myrtle Beach

If you’re headed to North Myrtle … a great choice.

North Myrtle Beach offers an array of fun for your spring and summer getaway. We’ve put together a list of favorite places to eat, shop, and have fun in this part of the Grand Strand. Let this be your guide, but feel free to explore on your own while you’re at it.

What are some of your favorites?

TOP EATS

21 Main

You don’t have to go far for seafood and dry-aged beef — it’s on-site, at North Beach. It’s no exaggeration to say this might be the best meal you’ve ever had, and superlative service to go with it. Treat yourself to Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Bisque, and Prime Bone-In Ribeye.

Filet’s Waterfront

You’ll find a casual vibe, plus hand-cut steaks, seafood, and a sushi bar. The P.E.I. Mussels and Fried Green Tomatoes are delicious, and you can’t beat the view. We also recommend the Beef & Brie Salad, Signature Filet, and Stuffed Flounder.

SeaBlue Restuarant & Wine Bar

Be sure to pack some nice clothes if you plan on a meal at this stylish, elevated steak and seafood place. It’s gaining prestige not only in Myrtle Beach but in the east and south, too. Enjoy Oysters Casino, Seafood Risotto, Center Cut Filet, and more.

Flying Fish Public Market & Grill

This is a fun, lively place to find your favorite seafood dishes with a southern flair, plus sushi. Have a creative cocktail out on the patio, and the stellar staff here will take great care of you and your party. Grab a Southern Burger, or the catch of the day in their signature preparation: Goldfish-jalapeno breaded and pan-seared.

Muscadine wines, a beautiful patio, live music, and good company — what else do you need? If you love this brand from home, you’ll double-love having a tasting where it all comes from. Bring home a bottle of Cotton Candy, Hatteras Red Reserve, or Sweet Lily while you’re there.
